Welcome Back To School Term 4 2021

                    Today is out first day back at school from a long time in lock down and i am 

                    super happy to see all my freinds again.                    

Soul Friends Mass Aston

 Today for Saint Pius X we had a very special mass. This Mass is special because we celebrated three important occasions for our school. They are, Saint St Patrick's Day, Soul friends and Ash wednesday. did you know that Patrick didn't make his way to Ireland until Irish pirates kidnapped him at age 16. From there, he started his journey to converting the Irish to Christianity and becoming an Irish patron Saint. did you know that St patrick lived in three different places britannia , ireland and auxerre, also he was born on 386 AD & died on March 17, 461. on the 1st of march it is ash wednesday , Ash wednesday  is when Father puts ashes on your forehead, why he puts ashes on your forehead he puts it on because Ash Wednesday is a Christian holy day of prayer and fasting Ash Wednesday derives its name from the placing of repentance ashes on the foreheads of participants to either the words Repent, and believe in the Gospel or the dictum Remember that you are dust, and to dust you shall return. and last of all Soul friend, soul friends came the Holy Faith sisters from Ireland. In the early Irish church people would chose wise people to have as there soul buddy. 

  

THE BRAVE MARMALADE

The Adventure of The Brave Carrot Marmalade          

Hi I am  the Jar of Carrot Marmalade also called Mordy , and I'm gonna tell the story of how I was made and how I got to Auckland. It's a really interesting story so you should read it. 

I was Once an ordinary carrot. I did what other carrots do “grow and grow and grow. Too much growing means getting rotten or picked to be sold at the supermarket, and get eaten.

               Now the story begins.

I was a normal Carrot growing then I was picked by a Carrot pickers who sold me to the supermarket, then a mysterious man who is called by the name John Thompson, picked me &  all my brothers were all left behind I was the only one who got taken to the ship called Endeavour, who's leader captain Cook, then I knew that I was endangered because: I was bought by John Thompson Captains Cooks Chef!!

I was taken to the one place I feared the most, the “kitchen”! Then he started on another carrot my long lost brother, Called Rick, after Jimmy it was me, I was grated like I was worthless but I, and my long lost brother Rick wasn’t the only people who was put in there, then he started adding 4 cups of water, 6 cups of sugar, i was put in to a boiling hot jar, which i thought was spar/hot tub, then i felt like a whirl pool because i was getting stirred, then he put me in another glass jar, and then I was sealed up with a metal lid, Then that same night I was asleep then I was abducted by aliens, then i saw a dirty seagles smelly foot trying to open the jar , then The dirty seagles dropped me in the water, next to Mercury bay, and in a place called Captain cooks beach. And ever since that I could never see the sun again. Until 251 one long year, I was found by some fishermen then they sold it to the museum But then I was used to a tool from The endeavour because whatever is old is ancient that's what I learned.

 So I was standing still trying to look muscular for the ladies because they were looking at me. Then a Tsunami came that flooded the area around me, I got floated away, like rubbish being squished, Then I was saved by this muscular handsome beautiful man named Taniela, and a boy next to him called Aston, that was way more handsome and even more muscular. Then I saw a board saying Auckland.  Then I was sent back to the museum, I was angry Because they were playing games with me and my long lost brother Rick and I had to do something but I was sent back To The old people that saved me, and Then I raged at them but they didn't really understand me and also Aston tried me and looked a little angry and sick then he laughed with a d face.

 Internationals Women's Day 

One the 8th of March was International Women's day. In our class we do an activity. First we had to get in a group of four or a pair ( 2 people ) my group was Sio, Aniseko & Aston and then second we copied a good drawing , then we had to say a positive thing about a girl and also challenges of being a girl.this is Our Activity  me, and the females have to do the same thing, but they had to say something positive about a boy, and something that is very challenging for a boy.

Today In  religious Education (RE) we made responsibility mats I found this interesting i enjoyed Colouring I learnt being responsible is a good thing to do.

     Luke 26 - 38 The birth of Jesus foretold Wednesday 18th November 2020      

The Event about God sent Angel Gabriel to Nazareth in a small town in Galilee and his mission to pass on the words of god and to tell Mary that she is going to have a baby and he said you are going to call him Jesus, and you're going to marry a wise man called Joseph.

The scripture then tells us more about Mary’s son and his future. We are told….  He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David, 33 and he will reign over Jacob’s descendants forever; his kingdom will never end.”

Lastly in  the scripture reading Mary:  “I am the Lord’s servant,” Mary answered. “May your word to me be fulfilled.” Then the angel left her.
